Dr. Carmi "Carmiapple Simonsays" Simonson

Dr. Carmi Simonson is a long time Chippewa Falls resident having graduated Chippewa Falls High School in 1997.  She then attended UW-River Falls for her undergraduate work before getting accepted to the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of  Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2004.  She practiced in Eau Claire as a small animal veterinarian for 10 years before starting her own clinic in December of 2015.  Her special interests are pain management, acupuncture, surgery and ultrasound.  She is married and has 2 sons as well as a labrador retriever named Antigone, and a cat named Norris. Really loves a good botfly case.

Dr. Jodi "Country Jodes" Bohl

Dr. Jodi Bohl grew up in Bloomer, WI. She graduated from high school in 1983, then went on to earn a BS from UW-Oshkosh. She then received her degree of veterinary medicine from UW-Madison in 1992. She practiced in Menomonie for ten years and then Eau Claire for another 15 years, before starting here at Riverview Animal Hospital in March 2020. She has special interests in general surgery and feline medicine. She currently lives in Chippewa. She has two sons, Brandon and Ryan. Frequently referenced as the "Kitty Queen" or "Cat Whisperer." She loves a good "Lunch and Learn" opportunity. Rocks a turtleneck like it's nobody's business. Occasionally goes out with her boots on. 

Dr. Amber "Doc Geezy, The New Vet, Goodie" Gooden

Dr Amber Gooden grew up on a hobby farm in Minnesota. At the age of 12, her family moved back to Eau Claire. She began working at a local clinic at the age of 16. She graduated from UWEC in 2010 and UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She worked as a veterinarian in Eau Claire for nearly 9yr before joining Riverview. She has a special interest in behavior and is fear free certified. She lives in the outskirts of Eau Claire on two acres with her four dogs, six cats,  one fish (most of them are special needs), and 108 plants. In her spare time, you'll find her hiking with and training her dogs, tending to her many house plants, and spending time with family. You may also find her browsing vintage wear around downtown Eau Claire.
